Travel to Newquay by road
The M5 and the A303 are the two main routes into the West Country from the rest of the UK, converging at Exeter. Take the M5 past Exeter, then turn on to the A30 and pass Okehampton, Launceston and Bodmin. At Indian Queens, turn on to the A392: Newquay is just seven miles ahead.
Travel Newquay by coach
Newquay and Cornwall are served by National Express and Megabus from destination throughout the country. National Express coaches go direct to Newquay from London Victoria and Heathrow Airport and runs up to six times a day. Connecting services to Cornwall are available from Bristol, Birmingham and London. Megabus operate nationwide and run services from London and Plymouth to Newquay.

Travel to Newquay by train
Newquay railway station is the terminus of the Atlantic Coast Line that runs from Par railway station and is operated by First Great Western. Located near the centre of the town on Station Parade, much of Blue Chip’s accommodation in Newquay will be within walking distance of the station, but there is also a taxi rank and regular onward bus services available from outside the station.
On summer weekends all the local services are withdrawn and replaced by a mixture of First Great Western trains from London Paddington and CrossCountry trains from the North of England. A direct train from Paddington will take around 5 hours.
The trains between Par and Newquay are designated as a community rail known as the Atlantic Coast Line. Three pubs in Newquay take part in the “Atlantic Coast Line rail ale trail” so your train journey can be part of your holiday!

Travel to Newquay by Air
Newquay has a busy regional airport. Currently 7 airlines operate out of Newquay airport with flights to and from 22 destinations throughout the UK including and Europe including: London (Stanstead, City and Gatwick), Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, The Isle of Man, Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Dusseldorf, Alicante, St Brieuc and Zurich.
Newquay Airport is situated 5 miles North East of the town at St Mawgan and takes around 15 minutes by car. Regular bus services run from the airport to Newquay and the surrounding areas, or alternatively a taxi into Newquay should cost around £15. Car hire is also available from Newquay airport, and advance booking is recommended.
