Crantock Beach
Crantock is a beach popular with locals. A mile of sand backed by dunes, the fact that Crantock is away from the heart of Newquay makes it quieter when the holiday season is in full swing. At one end of the beach is the Gannel Estuary, which separates the beach from the Pentire Headland. Crantock is accessible from the Pentire by using wooden bridges at low tide, or by ferry from the Fern Pit café when the tide is high.
Facilities: Lifeguards (in season), Car Park (National Trust), Toilets, Shop, Café (in season)
